F+W Publications seeks an Associate Editor for its Denver-based Memory Makers magazine.
The Associate Editor position includes upper-level editorial responsibilities related to Memory Makers magazine, all SIPs, and online publications as well as departmental tasks.
Responsibilities
- conceptualize issues and articles with editorial staff
- Manage all features and Scraphappenings section
- Research product for article placement
- Write articles as needed; edit and fit text for assigned articles
As a member of the editorial staff, the Associate Editor will work closely with the advertising, marketing and production departments to promote and produce the publication.
The Associate Editor will be expected to travel occassionally by plane with overnight stays for trade and consumer shows or other industry events.
